How to Join

If you are interested in any aspect of amateur theatre then we would be very keen to hear from you. There are lots of ways you can get involved and take part in this fun, creative and fulfilling hobby. You don’t need any theatrical experience, just lots of enthusiasm and a willingness to get ‘stuck-in’.

Ways you can get involved:

Performance: Acting or Directing

Backstage: Stage Management, Props, Make-Up, Light and Sound, Set Build and Design and much more.

Front of House: Box Office, Selling Programmes, Ushering people to seats etc

Other: Publicity and Administration

Why Belmont Theatre Company?

We are friendly, active (produce three shows a year) and are very sociable. As a Belmont member you will be a part of a community of like-minded people who have a passion for theatre. As a member you will receive a regular newsletter which provides information on forthcoming productions and also our monthly social events which have included trips to the west end, quizzes, walks, ten pin bowling and much more.

Annual membership can work out as little as 50p per person per week. There is no joining fee.

No time or inclination to get too deeply involved but still want to support your local theatre company? Why not become a PATRON?

Fees are just £12.00 per annum (£18 for a couple at the same address).

Belmont Theatre Company has a thriving Patrons organization made up of supporters of the group. The Patrons actively support all our shows and fund raising events and get the group’s regular newsletters. Although you need to be a member to take part in the shows and their production, many Patrons choose to act as stewards at performances, sell raffle tickets and programmes, or otherwise promote the group to their friends and contacts and join in our social functions. Each year the members stage a Patrons' evening of entertainment as a 'thank you' for their support.
