We are current rehearsing for our next show at the
Watford, Pump House Theatre on 15th - 18th October 2008:
Fourplay – Four one-act plays by different
authors.
The plays in this production are:
The Little Heir – a comedy by Kay Macaulife The play is set during the first read through of a new play by a local theatre group, the cast continually question the director on the script while they overact. In by the Half – a dramatic comedy by Jimmie Chinn Think of ‘The Anniversary’ mixed with ‘The Dresser’ with a ‘Bette Davis’ type character strutting the stage. This will give you an idea of what this poignant play is about. Caught on the Hop – a farce by David Foxton A riot of a farce set in Paris around 1900, with marital infidelity, inappropriate partners, the lot. A Chip in the Sugar – a monologue by Alan Bennett Graham is a middle-aged bachelor, still living with his elderly mother, whose life is thrown out of kilter when she meets up with a face from the past. We are always seeking new members to act, direct or otherwise help with
the varied work behind the scenes. All ages over 16 welcome. Experienced
or beginner, we have a role for you in our award-winning drama group.
