Belmont Theatre Company (originally known as Belmont Players) was formed in 1946 as the drama section of the Belmont Community  its first public performance, Charity Begins in 1947.

Over the years Belmont has been one the most successfully and well-supported drama societies in Harrow, Middlesex with a nucleus of loyal and devoted members. Whilst we still rehearse in the Harrow, Northwood and Carpenders Park areas, most of our productions are staged in Watford at The Pump House Theatre.

Belmont Theatre Company presents three main productions a year with a variety of shows ranging from comedies and dramas to musicals. For instance, our October 2010 production was A Murder is Announced, a murder mystery by Agatha Christie and in February 2011 we performed Laying the Ghost, a comedy by Simon Williams. In 2009 we were one of the first amateur groups to stage The Likes of Us, the first musical written by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

In addition we have a lively social scene and participate in many other special events. In order to maintain our previous high standard of productions, Belmont Theatre Company is always looking for new members to act, work backstage (including lighting and sound) or with Front of House.

New members always required for acting and backstage
